Professor Emeritus Petr Dejmek is a leading researcher in food technology and has played a central role in the development of Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) – one of the technologies that form the basis of OptiCept.
During his long career at Lund University and through international research collaborations, Petr has contributed to several important scientific breakthroughs and practical innovations. His work has also resulted in more than 120 scientific publications, global visiting professorships, and several successful technology companies.

Professor Federico Gómez is based at Lund University and has established himself as a leading researcher in the fields of food technology, plant biology, and biotechnology. His interdisciplinary research focuses on how methods such as electroporation and pulsed electric field (PEF) can be used to optimize food production, improve nutrient preservation, and increase energy efficiency.
